The bank holiday reset

Posted on May 04, 2021 by Harry Kettle

It can so often be easy to get lost in the chaos of what’s happening around the world and we don’t at all blame folks for doing so – especially when our source of joy, Arsenal Football Club, continues to let us down at every available turn.

Still, the Gunners are coming off the back of a strong performance and win over Newcastle United which, in itself, should be enough to create some confidence within the fanbase that they can cause some damage between now and the end of the campaign.

Whether it be through a late top six push or a real attempt to win the Europa League, we think it’d be foolish to write off Mikel Arteta and his side – because let’s face it, nobody saw the FA Cup win coming last season.

The bank holiday offered up a chance for us all to relax and regroup after a mad start to the year.

Many within the football sphere want to look ahead to the Euros but we mustn’t forget how important the Europa League could prove to be. Arsenal still have something to fight for, and every game from now needs to be seen as a cup final.

Will Arsenal have a successful end to the season?
