Arsenal concluded what was a truly remarkable opening part of the season with a 0-2 triumph away to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, courtesy of a second-half brace from Martin Odegaard. Now it’s time for the World Cup to begin, and club football around the world will be taking a break, at least in the formally competitive sense.
