While Arsenal have struggled to find consistency in the Premier League so far this season, they do seem to be enjoying themselves in the UEFA Europa League. That trend continued last night as they put four past Rapid Vienna at the Emirates, continuing their surge towards the knockout stage in the process.

After the win, manager Mikel Arteta was happy to speak with the media as the Gunners attempt to turn things around pretty quickly heading into one of their most important games of the season so far – the North London derby.

Arsenal fans are set to return to the Emirates in their limited numbers later tonight as the Gunners prepare to lock horns with Rapid Vienna.

While the atmosphere isn’t exactly going to be the same with only a few thousand supporters being permitted to enter into the ground, it’s definitely a step in the right direction. Alas, it does come at a time when Arsenal fans know that their passage into the knockout stage has been secured, with many wondering what kind of side Mikel Arteta is going to put out.

The UEFA Europa League may not be everyone’s favourite competition, but there’s no way of denying just how efficient Arsenal tend to be when they play in it.

They picked up another win last night as they ran out 3-0 winners over Molde, confirming their position as one of the leading contenders to win the whole thing. It was the definition of a well-rounded performance and manager Mikel Arteta recognised that, talking through the ins and outs of the win with the media after the game.

It’s another week of European action for clubs across the continent and that includes Arsenal, with the Gunners hoping to take another big step towards the knockout stage of the UEFA Europa League. There are some hefty expectations when it comes to what the club can achieve in the competition, but as we all know, that’s been the case for the last few years.

Mikel Arteta should and will be feeling confident heading into the game against Molde, and before the game, he spoke with the media about what he expects to see.

It’s safe to say that things haven’t quite gone to plan so far this season for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, and while it hasn’t exactly been a disaster, it definitely hasn’t been perfect, either.

Still, while the critics have been out in force to point out the Spaniard’s mistakes, there is also a general acceptance of the fact that he is a new manager who is still attempting to learn the ropes. As such, there are also going to be some progressive decisions make that counter some of the errors.

Things didn’t start off particularly well for Arsenal last night at the Emirates, but in the end, they overcame the early adversity and pulled out a strong 4-1 win over Molde. The win puts the Gunners on nine points after three games in the UEFA Europa League group stage, and you’d think that should give them a strong enough platform to go on and qualify for the knockout stage.

After the match, manager Mikel Arteta spoke with the media as Arsenal built up momentum heading into the Aston Villa game on Sunday.

While Arsenal may slowly but surely be getting their Premier League campaign back on track, the condensed nature of the 2020/21 season means that the UEFA Europa League is also moving at a pretty quick pace. The Gunners will be back in action tonight as they prepare to host Molde at the Emirates, and if they win, they’ll have one foot in the knockout stage.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who guided his team to a big win over Manchester United last weekend, recently spoke with the media ahead of a crunch game for the club’s European ambitions this season.

Arsenal had a job to do last night and while they may have dragged their feet ever so slightly, two goals in two minutes before half time and a third just after the second half got underway ensured that they would be leaving the Emirates with all three points. Dundalk put up a decent fight at times, but the Gunners were just far too strong for them as they made it two wins from two in the UEFA Europa League.

After the match, with the Manchester United clash looming large, manager Mikel Arteta spoke with the media about the win.

While things may not be going particularly smoothly in the Premier League for Arsenal with three defeats in their first six games, they were able to secure a narrow win over Rapid Wien in their UEFA Europa League opener last week. Still, we all know this competition is a marathon and not a sprint, which is why Gunners fans shouldn’t be getting too excited just yet.

Today, we’ll be taking a quick look at their upcoming Thursday night clash against Dundalk – one of Ireland’s best teams.
