Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson has been praising Gunners legend Freddie Ljungberg, who is now in charge of the under-23. Nelson has been part of both the senior and the under-23 squads in recent years.
Ljungberg became the under-23 boss in June after the appointment of Unai Emery as the clubs new senior coach. The Swede is a club icon having made over 325 appearances for the Gunners and was part of the Invincibles squad.
Not just a top player

According to the Mirror, Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is set to leave the Gunners on a free transfer after being told by Arsenal boss Unai Emery that he is unlikely to be a key player in his team.
Recent reports suggested that Wilshere was about to agree a new deal with the Gunners. However, it now seems he is ready to snub an offer from the north London club to leave as a free agent when his contract expires at the end of the month. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal’s Germany international playmaker Mesut Ozil is set to be offered a new deal at the Emirates worth £280,000 per week, according to the Mirror.
The former Real Madrid star will have just 12 months to run on his Arsenal contract in the summer. Ozil is reportedly holding firing on accepting the offer, as he believes he can earn higher wages elsewhere if he moves on.
Offer would double Ozil’s wages
The offer would more than double Ozil’s wages, as he is currently reported to be on £140,000 per week, with also bonuses added on. Arsenal have never paid a player more than £200,000 per week in flat wages, so the offer is a big deal. .......Read more here.....

According to the Mirror, Arsenal are set to complete the £5million signing of Basel and Egypt midfielder Mohamed Elneny. The 23-year-old is reported to have had a medical on Tuesday and the deal is expected to be completed when the transfer window opens.
The Gunners will have to wait for a work permit for Elneny, but that is unlikely to be a problem as the midfielder has appeared on a regular basis for both Basel and Egypt in the last year. .......Read more here.....

It is the rumour that does not seem to go away, William Carvalho signing for the Gunners this summer from Sporting Lisbon.
According to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is set to make a move for the highly-rated midfielder, with Costa Rican international Joel Campbell possibly used as makeweight in the deal.
Carvalho has been linked with a move to Arsenal for a good while now, but has also been linked with moves to Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.
