As is the case with any international tournament, players who previously weren’t on many people’s radar are now considered to be world beaters after just a few games. The World Cup, in particular, serves as a fantastic proving ground for players who otherwise wouldn’t have been given the chance to shine on such a big stage.

Highly-rated Stuttgart midfielder Berkay Ozcan has moved on to reveal Premier League giants have made a direct approach hoping to secure his signature.
The 19-year-old Turkey Under-21 international has been making huge waves with his performances of late as he went up through Stuttgart ranks and into the first-team during the 2. Bundesliga title winning side last season.

Arsenal striker Takuma Asano has extended his stay at Stuttgart for another season after being denied a work permit, reports the Daily Star. The Japanese international was hoping to finally get his Arsenal career started by he was ruled to not have played enough games last season to earn a permit.
Signed from Sanfrecce Hiroshima for £2m in 2016, the 22-year-old has yet to make an appearance in an Arsenal shirt. He was sent to Stuttgart on a season-long loan in 2016/17, playing 27 times and scoring four goals as the German outfit earned promotion back to the Bundesliga. .......Read more here.....

The North London club are interested in top-rated Stuttgart youngster Berkay Ozcan, the player’s agent Baris Yukselsen has confirmed.
The 19-year-old midfielder has been in fantastic form at the German club this season, already making 18 appearances with the second-tier outfit, scoring three goals and managing as many assists across all competitions.
Ozcan was quick to establish himself as one of the brightest prospects in Germany and his agent revealed that Arsenal are just one of the clubs following the Stuttgart starlet.
“Many top clubs are interested in Berkay. Arsenal have Berkay on their list, but at this moment he is focusing on Stuttgart’s resurgence”, Yuskelsen told Football London. .......Read more here.....
