Arsenal are officially into the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League after a resounding second leg triumph against Slavia Prague last night. It was the kind of win that had most Gunners fans wondering why they can’t put together consistent performances like this every week – but hopefully, this can serve as a bit of a turning point.

After the game Mikel Arteta spoke with the media and not only praised his side’s performance in the 4-0 win, but also turned his attention towards Villarreal and former Arsenal boss Unai Emery in the semis.

Arsenal have a whole lot riding on the second leg of their UEFA Europa League quarter-final against Slavia Prague tonight. The Gunners are heading into the clash knowing that they have to at least score in order to avoid being knocked out on away goals, and while that rule may seem odd in the midst of a global pandemic, that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

As Arsenal fans prepare for what may well be the biggest game of the season so far, manager Mikel Arteta has taken the time to speak with the media as the countdown to kickoff continues.

Arsenal fans could’ve been forgiven for thinking their side was heading to a 1-0 win over Slavia Prague after their late Europa League goal last night, but then again, this is the Gunners we’re talking about here.

The hosts wound up conceding a really avoidable late goal and now, the tie has completely changed heading into the second leg. Arsenal are the ones who need to go out and chase the result thanks to Slavia’s late goal, and after the game, manager Mikel Arteta gave his reaction to a disappointing night at the Emirates.

Arsenal will step back into the fire tonight as they prepare to lock horns with Slavia Prague in the UEFA Europa League. The Gunners are currently at the quarter-final stage but the end goal, of course, is for the club to kick on and actually win the competition. If they do so, they’ll secure their return to the UEFA Champions League next season – but if they don’t, they’ll be left to scramble in the Premier League.

Prior to the game kicking off, manager Mikel Arteta has spoken with the media about the impending clash this evening.

It’s time to gear up for the final stretch of the season and while most will choose to focus their attention on the Premier League, there’s just as much intrigue behind what will happen with Arsenal in the UEFA Europa League. We’re at the quarter-final stage now and it’s not unreasonable to think they’re one of the favourites, especially heading into their two-legged tie against Slavia Prague.

Arsenal fans now know what their potential path to Gdansk looks like after the UEFA Europa League draw for the quarter-finals and semi-finals were made. The Gunners were just about able to edge their way past Olympiacos in the Round of 16 and as a reward for that, they’ll now lock horns with Slavia Prague.

It’s safe to say that many supporters will be happy about this when it comes to the quality of the opposition, but at the same time, there are some lingering questions about the club that need to be answered.
