Friday saw the Italian transfer window shut and saw Arsenal players leave for Serie A clubs. Joel Campbell joined Frosinone, youngster Stephy Mavididi signed for Juventus and backup goalkeeper David Ospina joined Napoli on loan.
Out of the trio, only Ospina has featured in the Gunners first-team in recent seasons. A move was almost inevitable for the Colombian number one after falling down the goalkeeping pecking order at Arsenal due to the arrival of German goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
Cech and Leno first choice goalkeepers
As soon as the Gunners signed Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen this summer, it looked obvious that the north London club were overstocked in the goalkeeping department. .......Read more here.....

The Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla has this week shared some bad news with his fans, confirming that he will need another intervention to his Achilles injury.
The Gunners star has endured torrid time over the past year which saw him go under the knife nine times. The experienced Spanish international was forced to push the return date even further with the latest update on his fitness status and Arsenal are said to be beginning to lose faith.

Napoli midfielder has emerged as one of the top transfer targets for Arsenal ahead of the January transfer window.
Various reports from the British press suggest that Arsene Wenger is keen to push through a deal for the 25-year-old Partenopei hot-shot during winter, adding however that the French tactician is prepared to wait until the summer to grab a highly-rated star.

Serie A giants Inter Milan are said to be eyeing up a potential January move for Arsenal winger Theo Walcott.
Different media outlets from Italy are citing English sources claiming that Gunners are prepared to let the 28-year-old English international leave this winter.
Walcott has indeed found his playing time severely limited this season and could be looking for a quick way out in order to kick start his career and improve his chances of making it into England squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

According to TMW, Arsenal are deadline with the eventuality that playmaker Mesut Ozil will leave the club for next at the end of the season. Ozil had previously stated he would consider extending his stay at the Emirates Stadium, but latest reports suggest otherwise.
The German international has so far failed to agree terms on a new deal, and TMW believe Arsenal are preparing for his departure the following summer as a result. Arsenal goalkeeper Wijciech Szczesny is all set for a swift return to Italy after passing a medical with Serie A champions Juventus.
The 27-year-old shot-stopper spent last two seasons playing for AS Roma on loan from Arsenal but is now close to securing a permanent deal away from London.
The Poland international arrived in Turin on Tuesday morning and wrapped up his medical later in the afternoon and now it’s up to the Italian giants to make an official announcement of Szczesny’s signing.

According to the Evening Standard, Arsenal’s Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will hold discussions with the Gunners about whether he has a first team future. This comes after widespread reports that the former-Roma loanee is set to join Italian champions Juventus.
Talking about Szczesny’s future, his agent David Manasseh told Przeglad Sportowy: “There is still no agreement with Juventus,”
“Szczesny has yet to talk with Wenger, who has been confirmed as Arsenal coach for the next two years.”

According to the Ibtimes, Arsenal are set to battle it out with London and Premier League rivals Chelsea for Torino striker Andrea Belotti this summer. The Italian striker is believed to be rated in the £85million bracket by the club from Turin.
Belotti seems to be one of the hottest strikers in European football at the moment. The 23-year-old has scored 26 goals and produced seven assists in Serie A this season, having enjoyed the best season of his career.

According to the Daily Express, Premier League Chelsea are interested in signing Inter striker Marco Icardi, who had previously been linked with a move to Arsenal. This comes with the Blues struggling in their attempts to wrestle Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku back off Everton.
Arsenal were strongly linked with a move for Icardi in their search for a new striker. That rumour seemed to have some truth in it when last week Icardi’s wife/agent Wanda Nara was in London.
