A big reputation in the European game

AS Roma’s sporting director Monchi has revealed defender Kostas Manolas is not for sale this summer, reports talkSPORT. The 26-year-old looked set for a move to Russian Premier League side Zenit St Petersburg before the move broke down.

And with Arsenal and Chelsea linked with his signature, Monchi made the club’s stance clear, saying: “Manolas for sale? No, we are working to sign players, not sell them,” he told Mediaset Premium. “I spend all day with the players and can see they have faith in the coach and the system they are adopting.”
