According to the Daily Mail, Ligue One outfits Lyon and PSG are eying moves for former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger. Both are reportedly consisting appointing the veteran French boss as their general manager, which would be similar to the role he had at Arsenal.
Wenger has been out of work since last summer
The Frenchman’s last role in football was of course at Arsenal, which ended last summer. He had been linked with a number of roles since his exit from the Gunners, including Everton last summer and Fulham mid-season. .......Read more here.....

Reported Arsenal target PSG midfielder Christopher Nkunku has turned down a contract extension in the French capital, according to the Daily Mirror.
The highly-rated central midfielder has been linked with a move to the north London club since the summer arrival of Unai Emery as Gunners boss. The Spanish coach gave the youngster his big chance in the PSG team when the pair were together in Paris.
Nkunku’s contract with PSG expires in 2020 and if he refuses to sign a new deal with the Parisian club, he will move on elsewhere this summer. The midfielder is reportedly unhappy with his playing time at PSG under German boss Thomas Tuchel. .......Read more here.....

According to London.football’s Arsenal writer Charles Watt, the Gunners are interested in signing PSG midfielder Christopher Nkunku and Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr this summer.
The Gunners were heavily linked with a move for Nkunku in the January transfer window. While Sarr is a winger who has gone slightly under the radar of other big European clubs.

According to the Express, Arsenal are the favourites to sign Lyon’s promising young French midfielder Houssem Aouar. The youngster is regarded as one of the brightest young stars in the European game.
The Gunners have made a promising start to life under Spanish boss Unai Emery. However, the former Valencia boss s reportedly looking to strengthen his squad in the winter transfer window and Aouar is reported to be his prime target.

In a rather strange move, Arsenal and France striker Alexandre Lacazette has taken a dig at Premier League crowds, stating that he missed the Ligue One crowds, as they were better than their English counterparts.
The striker is quoted by the Evening Standard as saying: “I miss Ligue 1’s atmosphere. In England, the fans are more spectators than supporters. There’s a better atmosphere in French stadiums.”

It seems to be the fashion for foreign footballers to speak to their home media while on international duty. According to the Times, Italian club Internazionale are in pole position to sign Bordeaux’s Brazilian starlet Malcom. Inter have reportedly offered an initial fee of around £8.8million to sign the youngster on loan before the deal becomes permanent next summer for a fee of £26.5million.
Malcom had reportedly previously been a transfer target for Arsenal. However, that was during Arsene Wenger’s reign as Gunners boss.

Former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira has become the head coach of Ligue One side Nice. The former Gunners star had previously spent two and a half years as head coach of MLS franchise New York City FC. Vieira’s contract in the Big Apple was due to expire in November, so he has made the move back to Europe.

Vieira reportedly received a phone call from Arsenal to tell him that he was not set to replace outgoing Gunners Arsene Wenger this summer, with Unai Emery replacing the veteran French boss instead. Alexandre Lacazette arrived at Arsenal in the summer as a goal-machine from his time with Lyon in Ligue One. On Monday night, the French striker scored a brace in the Gunners 2-0 victory over West Brom at the Emirates Stadium.
The double means that Lacazette has now scored four Premier League goals in his six top-flight appearances this season, one of which was a cameo appearance off the bench at Liverpool.
Proving doubters wrong

The Daily Mirror are reporting that Arsenal are set to launch a world-record £125million bid for Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe this summer.
The story seems like a fairytale from a journalist with too much time on his hands or after a few too many drinks. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger hates to part with money, so for the French boss to part with that sort of money for one player, albeit a highly rated player seems ridiculous.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Arsenal are set to renew their interest in Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette. The paper claims that the Gunners have been in touch with the striker’s current club to hold talks over a potential deal that could cost the north London club close to £60million.
The French international is one of a plethora of strikers seemingly linked with the club on a bi-annual basis. His name is usual in the same category of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain when it came to Arsenal being linked with strikers. .......Read more here.....
