Arsenal suffered a 3-1 defeat at struggling Swansea City on Tuesday night after a lacklustre display in south Wales.
The home side had the first attempt on goal on seven minutes. Jordan Ayew picked up the ball on the edge of the Arsenal area and the forward’s effort deflected over Peter Cech and wide of the post.
The Swans threatened again two minutes later. Nathan Dyer’s cross found Alfie Mawson at the far post and the defender looked set to score from close-range, only for Aaron Ramsey to produce a brilliant last-gasp block on the slide.
