It was only a matter of time before the impressive form Jesse Lingard has been on at West Ham started producing links left, right and centre. Arsenal are almost never left out of these speculative ‘reports‘, and so it’s no real surprise that they’ve popped up in relation to the 28-year-old forward.

Make no mistake, Lingard is a talented footballer. Natural ability has never been a problem for him, and it’s very likely that his attitude was the reason why Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decided to put him far from his mind when it comes to shaping his squad on a matchday. This term, he only made three appearances for his parent club, two in the Carabao Cup and one in the FA Cup.
