As another summer slowly creeps nearer, transfer rumours, mostly speculation of course, spread around by media outlets across Europe, are gradually overwhelming the screens of football fans. It’s one of the few things the Covid-19 pandemic hasn’t been able to put a stop to. Arsenal are a frequent subject, or rather target, of such stories.

In terms of potential departures, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the name mentioned the most, but the latest report – for the lack of a better (decent) word, suggest Alexandre Lacazette could be on his way out too. The story comes from Lacazette’s homeland of France, from L’Equipe.

As reported by the Mirror, AC Milan and Inter Milan are both heavily interested in signing Arsenal’s outcast Mesut Ozil.

Ozil made only three appearances in all competitions this season and his relationship with manager Unai Emery is said to be severely damaged. He hasn’t even been named on the bench for the last several games, and Emery explained it more than once, saying that it was a decision unrelated to his fitness and that other players, those that were included, deserved it more than Ozil.

Arsenal have begun talks with Chinese club Dalian Yifang over the possiblity of signing Yannick Carrasco, according to multiple sources.

Apparently, the negotiations with Inter Milan over Ivan Perišić have broken down with the Serie A side reluctant to allow the winger to leave on loan this month and the Gunners unable to offer a different king of arrangement. With no time to lose, the club have now turned to the former Atletico Madrid man whom they see as a suitable alternative.

Atlanta United midfielder Miguel Almiron is enjoying a rich vein of form for the MLS club and has seen his brimming form get a couple of high-profile European clubs hot on his trail.

The 23-year-old Paraguay international has raised plenty of eyebrows during his maiden season in the MLS. Almiron joined Atlanta United from Lanus last December and has thus far made 29 competitive appearances for his club.

Nine goals came as a huge reward for his exciting efforts, whereas it is the attention from the likes of Inter Milan and Arsenal that also came as a result of his impressive form.

Despite the contrasting claims suggesting Inter Milan have turned down the opportunity to sign Mesut Ozil in a part exchange deal for Joao Mario, Serie A giants still have the Arsenal star and World Cup winner on their radar.

The 28-year-old Gunners star is heading toward the end of his contract with the north London club and will be a free agent at the end of the season.

Arsenal have already offered their key man a new deal worth around £275,000 per week, but Ozil is said to be holding out for £350,000.

Serie A giants Inter Milan are said to be eyeing up a potential January move for Arsenal winger Theo Walcott.

Different media outlets from Italy are citing English sources claiming that Gunners are prepared to let the 28-year-old English international leave this winter.

Walcott has indeed found his playing time severely limited this season and could be looking for a quick way out in order to kick start his career and improve his chances of making it into England squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Theo Walcott played the total of 46 minutes of Premier League football this season although he did make an impression in Cup competitions.

According to Calciomercato via talkSPORT, Inter Milan have passed down the chance to sign Arsenal and Germany playmaker Mesut Ozil. The Serie A outfit were linked with a part exchange move that would see Joao Mario heading to the Emirates, but it now seems Inter will pursue other targets.

Ozil is in the last year of his contract with Arsenal, having so far rejected an extension. The 28-year-old had some fleeting interest in his signature over the summer, but suitors failed to match his £40m price tag and lofty wage demands.

According to TMW, Arsenal are deadline with the eventuality that playmaker Mesut Ozil will leave the club for next at the end of the season. Ozil had previously stated he would consider extending his stay at the Emirates Stadium, but latest reports suggest otherwise.

The German international has so far failed to agree terms on a new deal, and TMW believe Arsenal are preparing for his departure the following summer as a result. Ozil was being tipped to leave Arsenal ahead of this season but there was no club willing to meet his asking price or match his wage demands.

Inter Milan summer recruit Yann Karamoh claims Premier League club Arsenal wanted to sign him prior his loan move to Serie A.

Former Caen forward joined Nerazzurri on deadline day this summer in a transfer arrangement which will make his loan move permanent after two campaigns.

The 19-year-old is coming off from a breakthrough season in Ligue 1 during which he scored five goals and managed four assists in 36 competitive outings. Despite the tender age, Karamoh earned his place in the starting line-up at Caen thanks to his emerging qualities that got him on the radar of the host of European big sides last term.

Inter battling Arsenal and Man Utd for Atletico Madrid’s Jose Gimenez 1

According to Tuttosport via talkSPORT, Inter Milan are interested in signing Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez and could make an approach in the January transfer window.

Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked with the 22-year-old, whose contract expires from 2018, although it’s unknown if they will make an approach in the coming months.

Gimenez made just 12 La Liga starts for Atleti last season, suffering from stiff competition in the defence from the likes of Stefan Savic and Diego Godin. He’s featured twice in the league this campaign already, but his long-term future is uncertain given he’s yet to put pen to paper on a new contract.
