Arsenal are in talks to sign Inter winger Ivan Perisic according to Sky Sports, with a possible loan deal mooted and an option to buy next summer. However, the same report claims that Inter would only consider a permanent deal. Nerazzurri boss Luciano Spalletti has also stated the Croatian will not leave on the cheap in January.

Perisic is a very good player

Ivan Perisic has proven his quality in recent years at club and international level with Croatia. The winger played a key part in his country getting to the World Cup last summer. He is the sort of player that makes things happen and a player that would definitely add something to the Gunners attack.

Inter looking to tie up Mesut Ozil in January 0

As one of my colleagues revealed earlier, Arsenal now look resigned to losing German playmaker Mesut Ozil. The 28-year-old’s contract is up next summer and it now looks highly unlikely he will sign a new deal.

Like teammate Alexis Sanchez, the Germany international has turned down numerous big money offers of a new deal at the Emirate Stadium and looks set to leave the north London club in the near future.

According to the Daily Mirror via TMW, ambitious Italian outfit Inter are set to hold talks in January with the playmaker about a summer move. Any move next summer would leave the Gunners empty-handed.

Arsenal 10/1 to sign Van Dijk, as Mustafi looks set for Gunners exit 1

According to the Daily Express, Italian giants Inter are set to seal a deal for Arsenal centre-back Shkodran Mustafi before the summer transfer window closes next Thursday. The deal is reportedly a loan deal, with the option of Inter purchasing the German defender next summer.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has refused to deny that the centre-back could leave the club before Thursday deadline, which has added fuel to the fire of the story.

Mustafi has only spent one season with Arsenal. When Arsenal brought in the former-Valencia star last summer, most Gunners celebrated the centre-back’s arrival. The north London team had needed a strong centre-back for a while and Mustafi seemed to be the answer.

Arsenal star forward Alexis Sanchez is Chelsea’s priority summer signing according to the Guardian. The report claims that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has told the Blues hierarchy which players he hopes to sign in the summer, with the Italian currently in talks over a new contract extension.

Elsewhere, Spanish newspaper Sport claim that German giants Bayern Munich are actually the favourites to nab the Chilean this summer. It is looking increasingly likely the former Barcelona ace will be leaving north London in the near future, as he will have just 12 months left on his Gunners contract in the summer.

According to Italian publication Calciomercato, Arsenal are set to make a move for Inter and Croatia attacking midfielder Ivan Perisic in the summer.

The Croatian international has frequently been linked with moves to the Premier League in the past with the likes of Chelsea and Everton mooted as possible destinations for the former Wolfsburg star.

The Italian media claim that Inter rated Perisic in the region of £29.5million. The star only cost the Nerazzurri £16million when he arrived in 2015.

Alexis Sanchez has been urged to join Italian club Inter by Chile international teammate Gary Medel. The Arsenal forward’s future has been the subject of intense speculation in recent months, as he will have just a year left on his current contract in the summer.

Talks between Sanchez’s representatives and Arsenal seem to have stalled, which has led to speculation that the forward will leave the club in the summer.

Urged to joined Inter

Inter have been bought out by Chinese owners, who have ambitious plans for the Nerazzurri. Talking about Sanchez Medel told the Corriere dello Sport: ‘Alexis is a player we all know, he’s one of those strikers who all the top clubs are looking for,’

According to the Metro, Arsenal could be set to do battle with Premier League rivals Chelsea for Brazilian international striker Gabriel Barbosa known as ‘Gabigol’.

The highly-rated South American star was linked with a number of moves in the summer, including to Manchester United and Atletico Madrid.

However, he moved to Italian club Inter for £26million from Santos. Things have not worked out for the Brazilian youngster in Milan, as the striker has made just one substitute appearance for the Nerazzurri.

New Inter boss Stefan Pioli is reportedly considering allowing the youngster leave the club on loan in January.

Premier League high-fliers Arsenal are believed to be looking at the possibility to bring Gabriel Barbosa in January.

The Brazilian forward has struggled at Inter Milan ever since his €29.5 million transfer from Santos and despite the fact Gabigol was brought back to the first team for Inter’s clash against Crotone at the weekend, the 20-year-old is still expected to leave the club in January.

Nicknamed Gabigol due to his prolific goal-scoring form at Santos, Gabriel Barbosa was also likened to Barcelona star Neymar and is tipped to make a great name for himself in Europe despite the early struggles he is experiencing in Serie A.

According to the Daily Express, Premier League Chelsea are interested in signing Inter striker Marco Icardi, who had previously been linked with a move to Arsenal. This comes with the Blues struggling in their attempts to wrestle Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku back off Everton.

Arsenal were strongly linked with a move for Icardi in their search for a new striker. That rumour seemed to have some truth in it when last week Icardi’s wife/agent Wanda Nara was in London.

Arsenal set to make a move for Argentinian hot shot 0

According to the Daily Express and talkSport , Arsenal are set to attempt a big money move for Internazionale striker Marco Icardi, after the Gunners were snubbed in their £20million bid to sign Leicester star Jamie Vardy.

The Argentinian striker is believed to be rated in the £32million bracket and the Gunners could now be set to re-ignite their long-held interest in the star.

Built a good reputation in Serie A

Icardi is regarded as one of the brightest young forwards in the European game, having scored 16 times in the Italian top-flight last season. His goals and general performances are believed to have brought him to the attention of a number of clubs, including Arsenal it seems.
