Richard Garlick, currently the director of football for the Premier League, is set to become Arsenal’s director of football operations, as revealed by David Ornstein for The Athletic.
Garlick is set to leave his present post later this year, which he’s been in since the summer of 2018. He will succeed Huss Fahmy in the job and will be working closely with the club’s technical director Edu.
Prior to entering the world of football, Garlick worked at several law firms, and then he became the director of football administration at West Bromwich Albion. He is now a qualified solicitor specialising in sports law. In his current role, he has been charged with the tasks of overseeing football operations, football relations, youth development, coaching and young player education. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal have continued their restructuring behind the scenes with the appointment of Team Sky chief Huss Famhy to aid manager Arsene Wenger in contract negotiations for the players, reports the Daily Mail.
With Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wojciech Szczesny and Jack Wilshere having just 12 months left on their respective deals, the club have acted to provide support for Wenger as there’s been a clear breakdown with contracts.
Famhy will initially negotiate deals with the youth side but he’s expected to move up to the first-team eventually. The new arrival will work with transfer negotiator Dick Law and the pair have their work cut out this summer given the players who could be leaving. .......Read more here.....
