The rumour mill is up and running once more, and as we look ahead to the remainder of the summer transfer window, we’re intrigued by all of the possibilities that could come Arsenal’s way. Of course, you could argue that there just isn’t enough time for them to get done what many feel they need to get done in the window, but we trust in Unai Emery and what he’s trying to build at the club.

French international striker Olivier Giroud has found his first-team opportunities at Arsenal limited this season.

The experienced forward has mostly been used in rotation this term, although Arsene Wenger did promise to give Giroud more time on the pitch after the 31-year-old scored a late equaliser against Southampton last month.

Giroud has amassed 15 Premier League appearances this term but he was mostly used as a substitute in English top tier, starting only one game thus far.

La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna have made an unusual proposal to Arsenal man Lucas Perez in effort to re-sign the forward and lure him back to his hometown club.

The 28-year-old Spanish striker endured a torrid time in London over the past season. Having joined Arsenal in August 2016 for a transfer fee believed to be in excess of €20 million, Lucas Perez struggled to hold down a starting place at the Gunners.

The Spaniard found his opportunities limited having started only two Premier League matches throughout the season and is believed to be looking for a way out of Arsenal in order to kick-start his career.

Arsenal forward Lucas Perez has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium this summer and Fotospor have reported the Gunners’ asking price for the Spaniards is £12.4m. Former side Deportivo La Coruna have shown an interest in Perez but Turkish outfit Fenerbahce are believed to lead the race for his signature.

With Arsenal determined not to take such a big hit on the £17m striker signed last summer, Depor have been priced out of the move and have spoken out about their frustration with a lack of negotiation. Perez made just two Premier League starts last season and has lost his shirt number for next season, highlighting that Arsenal don’t have a place for him in the team.

Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce are reportedly close to completing the signing of Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina this summer, but the two clubs are said to be arguing over making the deal a permanent or temporary transfer. According to ESPN, Ospina will move to Turkey for €3.5m on a four-year deal, but Fanatik suggests the deal is yet to be completed.

The Colombian international handed in a transfer request this summer, citing a lack of playing team as a reason for his decision. Ospina has made just 24 Premier League appearances since his 2014-move from OGC Nice, but he’s featured in the FA Cup and Champions League – notably playing in Arsenal’s FA Cup win over Chelsea.

Less than a year into his disappointing spell with the Gunners, Spanish striker Lucas Perez looks set to leave north London.

The 28-year-olf former Deportivo La Coruna star failed to make an impression at Arsenal after registering only 11 Premier League appearances and adding just one goal to his name.

Disappointed by the lack of playing time, Perez is determined to leave the Emirates stadium in search of first-team football and it looks like Arsenal will not be standing in his way.

According to the Daily Star, Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is close to signing for Fenerbahce this summer and could make the switch to the Turkish Super Lig giants in a few more days. The Colombian shot-stopper has told the Gunners he wants to leave as a result of a lack of playing time and is set to leave the Emirates Stadium in pursuit of a starting spot at Fener.

Arsenal reserve goalkeeper David Ospina has officially entered talks with Turkish giants Fenerbahce over the summer move, according to reports to the Mirror.

The 28-year-old shot stopper has grown frustrated over the lack of playing time at Arsenal and is ready to quit Emirates in pursuit of regular minutes elsewhere.

The Colombian international has seen his role for the north London club severely limited and is aware things could even get worse if and when Wojciech Szczesny returns from his loan spell at Serie A giants AS Roma.

Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina has once again emerged as a transfer target for Turkish heavyweights Fenerbahce.

The Colombian international is contracted to Gunners until 2019, but is believed to be frustrated by lack of opportunities at the North London club. Ospina has been mostly used in cup matches this season, featuring in Arsenal’s every Champions league match.

David Ospina most recently managed to notch back-to-back Premier League appearances due to Petr Cech’s injury to his calf in the 3-1 defeat at West Brom, although he himself picked up a knock that is likely to keep him away from the West Ham clash tonight.

Arsenal not in the race to sign Fenerbahce’s Robin van Persie 0

Posted on July 24, 2016 by Crippy Cooke

Fenerbahce striker Robin van Persie is reportedly keen to leave the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium this summer with the likes of Stoke City and Middlesbrough the frontrunners for his signature. Van Persie is 33/1 to join Arsenal ahead of the new season, but it appears the Gunners aren’t looking to renew acquaintances with their former star.

The Dutch international spent eight years at Arsenal between 2004-2012, scoring 132 goals in 277 games. However, his time with the Gunners was rife with injury and saw the 32-year-old playing in just 63% of Arsenal’s Premier League games. Despite his fitness woes, manager Arsene Wenger stuck by the striker and turned him into one of Europe’s finest centre-forward.
