Arsenal’s Barcelona loanee Denis Suarez has confirmed that a groin injury will mean that he will not play again for the Gunners this season. It will also most probably mean that the midfielder will not play for Arsenal again.
Struggled to make an impact at Arsenal
Suarez has struggled to make an impact in north London since a January loan switch from Barcelona. Reportedly the Spaniard has cost the Gunners £3.2million in wages and signing-on fee, yet never started for the club. In fact, he has made just over an hour’s worth of football in the Premier League for Arsenal. .......Read more here.....

Suarez loan fails
Arsenal are apparently unlikely to sanction a €20 million deal to make Denis Suarez a Gunner on a permanent basis this summer.
The midfielder, considered as a possible long-term replacement for the Juventus-bound Aaron Ramsey, arrived to the club in January on loan from Barcelona. However, it appears he has thoroughly failed to impress manager Unai Emery, and as a consequence he has made only six appearances in an Arsenal shirt; all by coming in off the bench.
Now he has suffered a groin injury, and it remains to be seen if he’ll play again this season. .......Read more here.....

Denis Suarez appeared to laugh off reports about Arsenal wanting to cancel his loan from Barcelona and send him back to Spain.
The rumour about the Gunners being unhappy with the Spaniard originated from some extremely unreliable sources but still managed to pick up pace. The speculations, no doubt, stemmed from the fact that Mesut Ozil has come back into the side and has been playing well, as well as that Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are preferred options to Suarez for manager Unai Emery. .......Read more here.....

Barcelona are counting on the loan deal which saw Denis Suarez trade Camp Nou for the Emirates in January to become permanent at the end of the season, as reported by Marca.
Apparently, the Catalan giants are measuring their options and have decided to pursue signings in the form of a striker and a left-back; one to relieve the amount of game-time for former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, once linked with Arsenal himself and the other to provide cover in a similar way for Jordi Alba. .......Read more here.....

The January transfer window has officially closed for another year, and while that’s been the case for a few days, there’s a reason why we’re bringing this up now. The reason? Because Arsenal fans can’t seem to stop talking about it. While the club may have secured the signing of Denis Suarez from Barcelona, you’d think that the Gunners hadn’t made any significant moves whatsoever based on how the fans have been talking. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Denis Suarez from Barcelona for the rest of the season, with an option to buy in the summer. The Guardian (and several other sources too) claim Barcelona have confirmed it.
There have been several twists in this particular saga. As it always is the case with successfully completed transfers, the initial reports seemed somewhat unconvincing but the link grew gradually stronger. Eventually, it had been reported that an agreement was close last week, before it suddenly seemed it would go down the drain with Barcelona reluctant to accept sending the player on loan. .......Read more here.....
