Arsenal have managed to build on their win over West Ham last week by defeating Cardiff City in Wales by 2-3 on Sunday. Given that there were five goals scored in this game, there were a lot of discussion-worthy moments at both ends of the pitch as the overall positive impression has once again been marred by several unnecessary details, details we’ve unfortunately grown accustomed to seeing.
Cech’s brainless moment
A lot has been said about Petr Cech being uncomfortable with playing out from the back, and the experienced shot-stopper has gone one step further in proving his critics right, at least on this particular issue. Cech is a class goalkeeper, but it’s very hard to explain what happened on the stroke of seven minutes. .......Read more here.....

Unai Emery spoke to the press earlier today (Friday), focussing on the upcoming game away to Cardiff City on Sunday.
Asked about the progress that was clearly noted by the media in the West Ham win, the Arsenal manager agreed the team is making progress. He revealed that he liked what he was seeing in the last 20 minutes, but also that there were moments in the game when his players lost control for a while. He stressed that there is still a lot to be done, and that only three games have been played so far. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom could be set for a January move away from the North London club, according to reports.
The 21-year-old is close to returning to action following a back injury he suffered back in September, but the Mirror reports that Arsene Wenger is contemplating an option to send his striker out on loan in order to help him gain valuable first-team experience.
Akpom has made only one senior appearance for the Gunners this term, taking part in Arsenal’s 4-0 League Cup win over Nottingham Forest and is likely to find it hard to break into the first-team fold. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal travel to Wales to face Cardiff City on the weekend, with the latter having just earned a deserved draw against last season’s title winners Manchester United. Manager Arsene Wenger knows it will be a difficult task away from home, and even more so considering their recent run of form – nevertheless Arsenal are 8/13 to beat the Bluebirds.
City have lost just once in their last four league outings – 2-0 away to Aston Villa. They drew 0-0 with league strugglers Norwich City, while earning a famous South Wales derby victory against fierce rivals Swansea. And most recently, drawing 2-2 with Manchester United. .......Read more here.....
