As has been reported before, Liverpool and Manchester United are set to do battle against each other in order to acquire the services of Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey in January. The Welshman’s contract at the Emirates is set to expire next summer and as things stand at this point, it seems his future is almost certain to lie elsewhere.
Under those circumstances, it’s understandable that manager Unai Emery should wish to sell the midfielder in January in order to extracts at least some funds from the deal. Meanwhile, it has also already been reported that Arsenal are set to sign Atlanta United’s Miguel Almiron in the winter transfer window. According to the Daily Star, Arsenal have agreed a fee of around £11million with MLS outfit Atlanta United for attacking midfielder Miguel Almiron. The report suggests the 24-year-old will join the Gunners in the January transfer window.
Almiron only joined Atlanta in December of last year from Argentinian club Lanus. However, he has made a big impression in the USA top-flight. In fact, Arsenal are not the only team linked with a move for Almiron, as West Ham, Newcastle and Italian giants Inter are also reported to be showing an interest in the Paraguayan. .......Read more here.....

A number of media outlets report that Miguel Almiron from Atlanta United is Arsenal-bound in January. Apparantly, manager Darren Eales spoke to FOX Deportes USA and revealed that Almiron’s future has already been decided. He would move to England in the ‘European winter market’.
The reports mention the figure of £11million, which is definitely a reasonable price for a decent player.
Almiron is an attacking midfielder, most comfortable when playing through the middle but he is quite capable of performing well on either flank if called upon. He started his career with Cerro Porteno in his homeland of Paraguay. After three seasons, he moved to Argentina to play for Lanus, and he arrived to Atlanta in December 2016, and has so far made 57 appearances and scored 18 goals in all competition for the MLS club. .......Read more here.....

Newcastle United and AC Milan have both been credited with Arsenal target Miguel Almiron, who is widely expected to leave Atlanta United after a breakthrough season in the MLS.
The 23-year-old Paraguay international made an instant impression in the American football in his very first season in the MLS.
Almiron joined Atlanta United in a Young Designated Player deal said to be worth around $8 million from Lanus and went on to rake up nine goals and 14 assists in 30 appearances for his team. .......Read more here.....

Atlanta United midfielder Miguel Almiron is enjoying a rich vein of form for the MLS club and has seen his brimming form get a couple of high-profile European clubs hot on his trail.
The 23-year-old Paraguay international has raised plenty of eyebrows during his maiden season in the MLS. Almiron joined Atlanta United from Lanus last December and has thus far made 29 competitive appearances for his club.
