Arsenal top the Premier League table after eight matches played, with a one-point advantage over defending champions Manchester City. As rightly pointed out by James McNicholas in his article for The Athletic, the Gunners do not need to actually win the league to be successful this season; a place in the top four would do just fine.
Mikel Arteta’s team are obviously looking extremely well at the moment, but the increasingly congested fixture list that awaits from this point on does raise one or two questions. .......Read more here.....

It’s always great to reach a milestone and it’s even more rewarding to see players of your club get to a landmark point in their career, which is why it was so great to see both Bukayo Saka and Aaron Ramsdale being awarded special medals for reaching 100 appearances in the Premier League.
Saka has been playing at the top level since New Year’s Day 2019, when he became the first player born in the 21st century to play in the top flight – and it’s safe to say he hasn’t looked back since. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal have reasonably refreshed their ranks this summer, signing striker Gabriel Jesus, goalkeeper Matt Turner, midfielder Fabio Vieira, and winger Marquinhos. They are reportedly also close to completing the signing of Olekasndr Zinchenko, who appears set to follow Jesus from the Etihad to the Emirates.
Mikel Arteta is gradually putting the pieces of the puzzle together, and the team he’ll be leading through the 2022/23 season starting to take shape. Hopefully, everything will be ready by August 5th, when the Gunners face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the Premier League season opener. .......Read more here.....

The Premier League is full of world class goalkeepers and by default, there’s always bound to be a few incredible saves from season to season in English football’s top flight. In the 2021/22 campaign we saw plenty, with a string of keepers making it onto the official list for PL Save of the Season – which you can vote for here.
Aaron Ramsdale’s unbelievable save against Leicester is currently tipped to be the favourite to win it all with Bernd Leno, who played on a handful of occasions, having his effort against Chelsea on the list too. .......Read more here.....

As per Arsenal.com, Bukayo Saka and Aaron Ramsdale have both been nominated for the Premier League Young Player of the Year award.
While it seems the Gunners won’t achieve their ultimate goal of winning silverware or finishing in the top four, we’ve certainly seen a few breakout stars come to the forefront throughout the course of the campaign. Arsenal, as a club, are starting to be recognised as the kind of team that wants to bring through fresh youngsters – and that’s exactly the kind of approach that has helped Bukayo Saka and Aaron Ramsdale get the nod. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal undoubtedly did a good job when they signed Aaron Ramsdale from Sheffield United last summer. The 23-year-old quickly displaced Bernd Leno from the No.1 spot and has been undisputed between the posts since the fourth round of the Premier League campaign. Maybe it was a brave decision from manger Mikel Arteta to change the goalkeeper at that point, but one could also argue that after three straight defeats and seeing the club’s name in the relegation zone, there wasn’t much left to lose and plenty of changes were due. .......Read more here.....

It’s been a rollercoaster ride of a campaign for Arsenal Football Club thus far but through it all, there have been a few shining lights who have really been able to step up in the absence of any real consistency. Back in October, goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale was honoured for his work by receiving the Player of the Month award – and now, as per Arsenal.com, the same thing has happened again.
Ramsdale was instrumental in helping the Gunners to pick up a handful of impressive results in November and any Arsenal fan would tell you the same. He kept clean sheets against Watford and Newcastle and even in the defeat against Liverpool, he produced one of the saves of the season to ensure the headlines weren’t too negative. .......Read more here.....

It was another impressive night at the office for the England national team as they ran out 10-0 winners over minnows San Marino – securing qualification for next year’s World Cup in the process. It was the kind of result that was never going to be in doubt and while San Marino showed heart in places, this was embarrassingly easy for the Three Lions.
The big news for Arsenal fans, though, is how well the three Gunners players in the squad performed. Aaron Ramsdale kept a clean sheet in goal, Emile Smith Rowe scored in the 58th minute and Bukayo Saka put the final nail in the coffin in the 79th minute. .......Read more here.....

Aaron Ramsdale is expected to be handed his England debut tonight (Monday) as Gareth Southgate’s team play their final match in Group I of the World Cup qualifications away to San Marino.
Having been called up for the international break in October, the Arsenal goalkeeper sat on the bench against Andorra and Hungary, making way for Everton’s Jordan Pickford and West Bromwich Albion’s Sam Johnstone, respectively. Both him and Johnstone watched Pickford stand between the posts in the thrashing of Albania on Friday, but now, it seems Ramsdale will get his chance. .......Read more here.....

England boss Gareth Southgate has called up Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka and goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale for the remaining two matches of the World Cup qualifications during the upcoming international break. The Three Lions face Albania next Friday and San Marino the following Monday, needing four points to make absolutely certain they finish top of Group I, ahead of Poland and Albania.
There can be no doubt over the fact that both Saka and Ramsdale have earned to play for their country with excellent performances this season. .......Read more here.....
