French defender Mathieu Debuchy is again set to leave Arsenal as Turkish media claims he is on the verge of joining Super Lig giants Galatasaray.
The Frenchman was expected to rejoin Bordeaux after spending six months on loan with les Girondins, but it appears he is instead set for a season-long loan stint with the Turkish giants.
According to reports, Arsenal have accepted a bid from Galatasaray, but it remains to be seen whether the player himself will be able to agree personal terms with the club.
It is not surprising that the Gunners are ready to offload Mathieu Debuchy considering that Italian media claims they have offered around £13.5 million for Torino full-back Bruno Peres.
However, Arsenal would probably be better off selling the Frenchman rather than allowing him to leave on yet another loan deal, when it is perfectly clear that he has no future at the Emirates.
In other news, former Gunners hero Freddie Ljungberg is being heavily linked with the Under-18 role at the Emirates, as Arsene Wenger has been impressed with his coaching qualities since the Swede returned to North London.
The former Sweden superstar has been working with the Under-15 side, while he also helped Arsene Wenger during the tour of North America.
After Tony Adams accepted an offer from Chinese Chongqing Lifan Academy, Ljungberg has emerged as the favourite to replace Thierry Henry as the new Under-18 coach.
