A lot has been said about Arsenal so far this season, and understandably so, and that has carried over into the last few games due to a relatively poor run of form. However, the hope from many Gunners supporters is that when they match up against Leeds, they can prove that there are levels to playing attacking football and how to do it at the very highest level.
We’re expecting this to be a war, and while this may be a bit over the top, we do believe that this has the potential to be an incredibly entertaining encounter – perhaps the best of the season so far in the Premier League.
Mikel Arteta knows what Leeds are going to offer but he should also know what his own team are capable of too. At some stage things need to click in place for them if the Spaniard is going to maintain his role as manager, and a firefight is going to be the best way to see what stomach they’ve got for the battle ahead.
We need to take things one step at a time on the road back to potentially finishing in the top six, and that first step is going to be as tricky as the rest. We think Arsenal will win today, and if they do, it’ll be a huge sign of their intentions for the rest of the season in what has been one of their most inconsistent campaigns for years.
Is this Arsenal’s moment to shine once again?
