Following the news that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has tested positive for COVID-19, the Premier League is holding an emergency meeting this morning in order to discuss what is going to happen to the remainder of the fixtures this season.
Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi has also tested positive for the coronavirus, and as we look ahead to the immediate future, it seems as if this ripple effect is going to continue. The logical next step seems to be suspending the league for at least a few weeks, if not a month, before analysing what to do from that point on.
Our best wishes go out to the families of all those who have been impacted by this virus, as the world prepares for a big change in society.
