Fans haven’t been able to attend games for over eight months now, and while we’d all love to be able to head back in before we ring in 2021, it doesn’t seem as if that’s all too likely. What is starting to look more likely, however, is a potential vaccine. Over the course of the last few weeks, we’ve seen some phenomenal developments in the race to produce a functioning vaccine that could bring an end to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It’s safe to say that we probably aren’t going to see it being rolled out in a big way for at least three to six months and potentially even longer, but it’s nice to know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel – potentially.
Arsenal fans truly do make the Emirates what it is, and the faithful thousands that travel to away days also can’t be forgotten. The next few months are going to be incredibly hard as we all continue to try and deal with this vicious second wave, but on the horizon, you’d have to think that there is some kind of hope we can all hang onto.
