Arsenal may have another week or so to go before they can get back to domestic action, but that doesn’t mean fans can’t try and enjoy the international break for what it is – a break.
The next few months are going to be crazy and after that, we’re going to bleed into the rescheduled UEFA Euro 2020 and Summer Olympics with barely any time to breathe before the 2021/22 season kicks in. That’s the definition of a loaded schedule and because of that, we all need to embrace the time off while we can.
Sure, we aren’t the ones going out there and playing, but there’s a certain emotional attachment associated with being a football fan. We pour our hearts into this game and supporting our team and even though that doesn’t always lead to positive results, it still makes us feel connected to the club.
Arsenal are set to have an interesting end to the campaign and that’s putting it lightly. Between the Premier League and Europa League there’s still a whole lot left to fight for, and regardless of whether you’re Arteta in or Arteta out, we still think you should take a minute to enjoy the weekend and, who knows, maybe even watch England.
How will you be enjoying the international break?
