Tomorrow night, Arsenal will venture overseas to take on Villarreal in the first leg of their highly anticipated Europa League semi-final. This competition marks a great opportunity for the Gunners to get back into the Champions League and while it still feels like a long shot, they’re only three games away from making that a reality.
One piece of good news that’s been announced came via Mikel Aretata in the lead up to the first leg. The boss has confirmed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Kieran Tierney and Alexandre Lacazette are all in contention to play which, in itself, is the kind of news that’ll give fans a huge boost of excitement.
There’s no guarantee any of them will feature for the entire game but the medical team deserves a huge pat on the back for being able to pull something like this off. It’s no secret that the three men in question are absolutely vital to Arsenal and any future success they may have, with the hope being that they can be the glue that holds the club together in this Europa run.
It’ll be tough, but we believe it’s on the cards.
Which of the three players do you think will end up playing?
