Every single season we get the release of a brand new home kit for pretty much every major team across the European football landscape, and the same is true for Arsenal. It’d be nice to see some teams keep the same kit for two straight seasons but in this era, that’s rarely going to happen.
The Gunners have released the following number which, straight off the bat, feels a little bit underwhelming in comparison to last year. We aren’t big fans of how the collar has been designed, the red/white ratio looks more like an Ajax kit and the navy trim, while nice to some, just doesn’t really fit in that well.
We all know Arsenal are going to have more substantial problems to deal with this season than just the state of their home kit and we aren’t pretending like that’s not the case, but in equal measure, it’s nice for fans to wear a strip they can be happy with and proud of.
This time around this is a swing and a miss for us but hey, at least the away kit is nice, and 50% isn’t a terrible outcome.
What do you think of Arsenal’s new home kit?
