North London club are said to be exploring the prospect of approaching the Paris Saint-Germain loanee Goncalo Guedes.
The 21-year-old star joined French champions for a fee believed to be around £26 million this January but failed to break into the first team in Paris.
Following only 13 first-team appearances Guedes was sent on loan to Valencia for the 2017/18 season as he was unable to fight for his place in the starting XI against the likes of world-record signings Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

Guedes scored three goals in 11 La Liga matches this season and put in a number of high-quality performances to help his team to the second spot in the table behind Barcelona.
His flying form is said to have alarmed Arsenal as well with Daily Mail reporting that Arsene Wenger is eyeing a summer deal for the Portuguese, who is eyed as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
With UEFA increasing pressure on PSG to balance their books following the heavy-spending summer Guedes could be one of the players Paris Saint-Germain would be forced to sell.
Arsenal’s newly-appointed sporting director of football, Raul Sanllehi, is believed to have identified Goncalo Guedes as one of the top transfer targets and first in line of high-profile names expected to arrive to the Emirates ahead of the 2018/19 season.
