Arsenal set to open Premier League season against Crystal Palace
It’s that time of year again when the Premier League fixtures for the upcoming season are announced, and for Arsenal, they’re going to be kickstarting things with an encounter against one of the club’s favourite midfield sons – Patrick Vieira and Crystal Palace.
The game will go down at Selhurst Park on August 5th, beginning what is expected to be an unusual campaign for the Gunners and the Premier League as a whole due to the impending World Cup this winter.
The remainder of their first six fixtures are rounded off by meetings with Leicester, Bournemouth, Fulham, Aston Villa and Manchester United, and as the days and weeks go on, we’ll go into more detail about some of the other juicy ties that lie ahead.
The countdown is on, folks.
Are you happy with Palace as the opening game of the season?
