Arsenal fans know exactly what it feels like to be put in a position of vulnerability within the context of watching the Gunners, but in their pre-season clash against Millwall over the weekend, they didn’t have to worry all too much about that.
It was an emphatic 4-1 win for Mikel Arteta’s men with four different goalscorers to show for it. Chambers, Lacazette, Pepe and Balogun all managed to get themselves on the scoresheet and while this may not mean a whole lot in the eyes of the masses, it’s nice to see the first team being given a bit of a confidence boost.
Now, they just need to translate that into Premier League success when the campaign gets underway in just a few weeks.
