Arsenal reportedly send scouts to watch Porto ace
Arsenal outplayed Tottenham in their north London derby on Saturday as the Gunners returned to Premier League action with a 2-0 win. The victory allowed the London side to relieve a lot of the pressure that they had come under, and they are now reportedly looking to add more strength to their squad as they supposedly sent scouts to watch Porto’s Danilo.
Arsenal were by far the better team on the day as they defied the odds to claim a valuable win on Saturday. The 2-0 scoreline did nothing to flatter the Gunners, who probably should have won by more. Tottenham were very poor on the day but that should not take away from the performance of the home side.
The victory means that Arsenal have dragged themselves back into the race for the top-four, with just a point now separating the Gunners from Tottenham. This is despite the fact that Arsenal were apparently going through a mini-crisis just a few weeks ago.
On the day, everyone in red played superbly, as a well-oiled Arsenal side played out the entirety of the 90 minutes. However, the futures of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are still unclear, and the club seem to already be moving to find reinforcements.
Indeed, The Sun have reported that Arsenal sent scouts to watch Porto’s Danilo. The midfielder impressed massively at Euro 2016, and is a powerful presence in the middle, something that the Gunners are in desperate need of.
