Arsenal hit 300 at the Emirates
For the better part of the last 16 years, Arsenal have spent their home games at Emirates Stadium – the brand new, shiny ground that was built in order to replace the beloved Highbury.
While it was initially a slow transition, the Gunners soon built the stadium into a fortress, which many still believe rings true in the present day.
It’s no secret that Arsenal are going well so far this season and this past weekend, they proved that once again by absolutely tearing through Nottingham Forest with an emphatic 5-0 success.
After 449 games at the Emirates, Arsenal have now won 300 of them with the milestone coming at the expense of Forest. As per Arsenal.com, it’s the 203rd in the Premier League with the rest stemming from the Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League.
Buckle up, folks, because this club is only just getting started.
