Less than a year into his disappointing spell with the Gunners, Spanish striker Lucas Perez looks set to leave north London.
The 28-year-olf former Deportivo La Coruna star failed to make an impression at Arsenal after registering only 11 Premier League appearances and adding just one goal to his name.
Disappointed by the lack of playing time, Perez is determined to leave the Emirates stadium in search of first-team football and it looks like Arsenal will not be standing in his way.
What is more, the Gunners have named the price for their fringe player and are reportedly keen to accept a £4 million loss to $17 million transfer fee they only paid last year.
Despite his limited time with the Gunners, Lucas Perez is not short of suitors with the likes of Sevilla, Valencia, Villarreal and Real Sociedad all believed to be keen to get him back to La Liga, which is said to be his preferred destination.
However, there is interest in Lucas from England with Everton reportedly keen on the Spanish striker.
The latest reports however suggest that Turkish side Fenerbahce have already opened negotiations with the player, who is offered £3 million in yearly wages which could force him to change his preference and not return to his homeland after all.
The Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce have made signing a striker their top priority this summer as they look set to lose Moussa Sow, who will be returning to parent club Al Ahli. And with Emmanuel Emenike sitting on transfer list, Lucas Perez remains an important target for Fenerbahce.
Former Gunner Robin van Persie is also on Fenerbahce’s books, but the experiences Dutchman is struggling to recreate the goalscoring form he got famous for during his Premier League days.
