Alexis Sanchez has been urged to join Italian club Inter by Chile international teammate Gary Medel. The Arsenal forward’s future has been the subject of intense speculation in recent months, as he will have just a year left on his current contract in the summer.
Talks between Sanchez’s representatives and Arsenal seem to have stalled, which has led to speculation that the forward will leave the club in the summer.
Urged to joined Inter
Inter have been bought out by Chinese owners, who have ambitious plans for the Nerazzurri. Talking about Sanchez Medel told the Corriere dello Sport: ‘Alexis is a player we all know, he’s one of those strikers who all the top clubs are looking for,’
‘I do not know what his future will be, but if you ask me about Inter, I will say that here there is a large group, a very good coach and a leadership that is hungry for success.
‘A project like this cannot be found anywhere.’
Inter have been linked with a move for Sanchez. The Chilean international had of course already played in Italy with Udinese prior to joining his former club Barcelona. The likes of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have also been heavily linked with moves for the forward.
Becoming frustrated by Arsenal situation
Alexis Sanchez has become visibly frustrated at Arsenal. He gets frustrated with his teammates and has the occasional sulk. However, that is his will to win and he is such a determined player. His complaints mostly seem to be about his teammates not sharing his attitude.
He works tirelessly and is no doubt the Gunners most influential player. His attitude towards the game is terrific and the Chilean deserves to be challenging for the big trophies.
Sanchez was accustomed to winning at Barcelona and with his national side, so playing for an Arsenal side that are missing some ingredients to be champions must be frustrating for the forward.
Sanchez leaving would not be surprising
Alexis Sanchez is one of the best players in the Premier League. He would likely get in any of the top teams in the Premier League. He is unlikely to want to carry an Arsenal team that has a propensity to self-destruct at times during the season.
Sanchez is only one player. At times he seems to carry the Gunners attack. Even when he is not playing well he works hard for the team. It would not be a major surprise to see Alexis Sanchez leave the club this summer and head to pastures new.
