Growing list of reports is emerging with claims that head of Arsenal’s Academy Andries Jonker is ready to quit the London-based club for a return to Bundesliga club Wolfsburg.
The Dutch former footballer and manager spent two years with Wolfsburg, prior to joining Arsenal in 2014. Jonker worked as an assistant manager to Dieter jecking at the Wolkswagen Arena helping the Wolves to the semi-finals of the DFB Pokal in 2013.
The 54-year-old tactician replaced Liam Brady at the helm of the Academy at Arsenal, but the German media outlet Bild claims that Andries Jonker is now prepared to take the managerial role at the Wolves, who sacked manager Valerien Ismael on Sunday. .......Read more here.....

The highly rated attacking midfielder has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium on numerous occasions in the past. Draxler is desperate to leave the struggling Bundesliga outfit in January. Former-Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has joined Championship Nottingham Forest on a free transfer. The 28-year-old had been released by Wolfsburg last season after struggling to find his feet in the Bundesliga.
Hasn’t fulfilled his potential
At just 28-years-old Nicklas Bendtner has somehow found himself playing in the second tier of football. His spell at Wolfsburg yielded just three goals in two seasons and he has hardly been prolific elsewhere in loan spells.
At the start of his Arsenal career, he seemed to have so much potential, but his attitude seemed to negate any actual football talent he supposedly held. The Dane seems like the kind of guy that could cause trouble in an empty room. .......Read more here.....

According to the Daily Mirror, are set to re-ignite their interest in Wolfsburg attacking midfielder Julian Draxler this summer. The Bundesliga club are reportedly ready to sell Draxler this summer after they failed to make the Champions League spots.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Draxler since his days at Schalke and it seems Gunners boss Arsene Wenger may be prepared to make another move for the attacking midfielder.
Draxler would be a costly signing
Wenger may be a great admirer of Draxler, but the spend-wise veteran French boss will not be a fan of the mooted fee of £55million. Draxler’s contract with the Wolves expires in 2020, as he only joined last summer. .......Read more here.....

According to the Daily Mirror, Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are stalking Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud (see what I did there!) and could make a move for the French international. They are even reportedly set to offer the striker a £5 million per year contract.
Not quite ‘world-class’
The 29-year-old striker has never quite convinced Gunners fans that he is the man to fire the team to the Premier League title and every summer there is talk of a world-class replacement being brought in to replace the former-Montpellier star. .......Read more here.....

French media outlet Foot Mercato has suggested that Bundesliga giants Wolfsburg are showing interest in Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Wolves have largely struggled this season, especially up front, with strikers Bas Dost and Max Kruse managing just 14 league goals between them.
As a result, Wolfsburg are in the market for a high-quality centre forward and while they are also being linked with Fiorentina’s Mario Gomez, Arsenal star Olivier Giroud is reportedly high on their wish list. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal produced one of the greatest escapes in Champions League history to secure their place in the last 16 phase, with heavily criticised Olivier Giroud founding a perfect time to score his first ever hat-trick since joining the club from Montpellier.
But, having finished in second position in their group, the Gunners could be up against some of the main candidates for the trophy in the next stage, including Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The knockout stage draw takes place on Monday, 14 December at 11:00 GMT in Nyon, and seeing that they cannot face fellow English sides, Arsenal will play one of the following five teams. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal have enjoyed an impressive pre-season so far and rounded it off with a 1-0 victory over Bundesliga runners-up Wolfsburg on Sunday courtesy of a Theo Walcott strike to secure the Emirates Cup. The victory followed a 6-0 hammering of Lyon and a 3-1 victory over Premier League rivals Everton.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger must be encouraged by the way his players have gone about their business. One of the most encouraging factors for the Frenchman will be the displays of youngsters such as Chuba Akpom, Jeff Reine-Adelaide and Alex Iwobi. .......Read more here.....
