Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will have to make his intentions clear to Juventus and the Gunners after reports of a breakdown in negotiations between the two clubs. AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarrumma could also throw a spanner in the works after rejecting a contract extension amid rumours of Juve interest.

According to Football.London, the Poland international Szczesny has been linked with a move to Turin this summer, and with just 12 months left on his deal at Arsenal he will have to either sign a new deal or hand in a request for Juve to raise their bid, while ensuring they don’t go for another target.

According to the Evening Standard, Arsenal’s Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will hold discussions with the Gunners about whether he has a first team future. This comes after widespread reports that the former-Roma loanee is set to join Italian champions Juventus.

Talking about Szczesny’s future, his agent David Manasseh told Przeglad Sportowy: “There is still no agreement with Juventus,”

“Szczesny has yet to talk with Wenger, who has been confirmed as Arsenal coach for the next two years.”

Unlikely to be number one at Arsenal

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojchiech Szczesny is set to leave Gunners for good with a permanent contract offer from Napoli already agreed, according to the reports coming from Italy.

The 27-year-old Polish shot stopper has spent two seasons on loan to Serie A heavyweights AS Roma and is set to stay in Italy with Napoli close to securing his services, Italian media outlet Il Mattino reports.

Szczesny met Napoli officials earlier this month and has already given thumbs up to a three-year deal with the Partenopei, who will now have to negotiate the transfer with Arsenal officials.

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojcieh Szczesny is believed to be subject of increased interest from Serie A hot-shots Napoli, La Gazzetta dello Sport has learned.

Partenopei are not thoroughly satisfied with their goalkeeping options and are willing to bring the Arsenal goalkeeper to challenge Pepe Reina for the spot in goal next season.

Napoli’s back-up ‘keepers Rafael Cabral and Luigi Sepe are both likely to leave the club at the end of the season, whereas Spanish shot stopper Pepe Reina has come under heavy criticism this term due to some rather shaky performances.

Could Szczesny be on his way to Dortmund in the summer? 0

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is reportedly the subject of interest from a number of European sides, but Borussia Dortmund are said to be leading the chase for his signature. The Polish international has been on loan with AS Roma for two seasons, but the Serie A giants may not be able to match his agreed fee of £13M to make the deal permanent.

With Petr Cech and David Ospina as first and second choice at Arsenal, Szczesny has stiff competitions for a starting place if he returns to his parent club, and the 26-year-old may well be open to a move away from the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season as a result. Juventus and Napoli are two sides keen on the goalkeeper, but perhaps not to be an immediate regular.

Is Joe Hart an upgrade on Petr Cech? 0

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are interested in making a summer move for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, who is currently out on-loan at Italian club Torino.

The England number one is reportedly being considered as a replacement for Gunners number one Petr Cech, who has come in for criticism of late. My question would be is Hart an upgrade on the veteran ‘keeper and I am highly unsure.

Hart is younger than Cech, but the Czech Republic keeper is arguably more reliable than the City goalkeeper, even after his recent mistake against Chelsea.

Arsenal set their heart on Joe Hart 0

England No.1 Joe Hart is not expected to extend his stay in the Serie A past the current season.

Out of favour with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, Joe Hart was sent on loan to the Italian club Torino at hte beginning of the season after failing to impress the Spaniard of his abilities to transform his game and become a sweeper keeper former Bayern Munich and Barcelona manager likes having in his goal.

Hart has been disappointed with the treatment he got from the new boss and is unlikely to return to the Etihad once his loan spell with the Bulls expires at the end of the campaign.

Szczesny in talks over a permanent move to AS Roma 0

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is reportedly in talks with Italian Serie A side AS Roma over a potential return to the Stadio Olimpico. However, the Polish international is keen on a permanent move rather than a loan deal such as last season which could see Szczesny ending a 10-year stay in England.

The 26-year-old became first-choice between the sticks for Roma last season, and stands more chance of regular game time in Italy than back at Arsenal. The Gunners have Petr Cech in goal, while David Ospina in the current number two. Szczesny lost his place in the Arsenal side in 2014/15, and was loaned out so he could get regular game time rather than being on the bench for the season.

David Ospina will not be a major miss for Arsenal 3

Reports have surfaced that Arsenal are set to hold talks with Besiktas over Colombian ‘keeper David Ospina or so Turkish news outlet Takvim claims anyway. Arsenal are believed to be looking for £3.5million for Ospina, but could sell the ‘keeper for less as he seeks first team football elsewhere.

He has been linked with a move to Turkish football before, but it seems he could now actually finally leave north London this summer.

Roma president flying to London to complete Szczesny deal 0

Posted on June 29, 2016 by Crippy Cooke

According to the Corriere dello Sport, AS Roma president Walter Sabatini will fly to London to complete a deal for the club to sign Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny on a one-year deal. The Polish international spent last season at the Stadio Olimpico, and is keen to stay for at least one more campaign.

“I learnt more in four months under (AS Roma manager Luciano) Spalletti than in 10 years in England,” said Szczesny, who may consider a permanent move to the Italian Serie A given how well hit fit in with Roma in 2015/16. Arsenal are still keen to keep the goalkeeper, but don’t have a place for him in the side.
