Premier League side Arsenal are said to be keeping close tabs on Trabzonspor attacking midfielder Yusuf Yazici.

The 20-year-old is said to have been personally watched by Arsene Wenger, according to Turkish media outlet Ajansspor.

Yazici broke to prominence in 2015 when he made his senior debut for Trabzonspor and has so far scored 10 goals in 43 appearances for his club.

The talented midfielder has been widely tipped to make a move to a more prominent football competition and a move to the Premier League appears to be on the cards with Arsenal expressing a strong interest in the player.

Premier League outfit Arsenal have reportedly set their sights of Trabzonspor midfield sensation Abdulkadir Omur.

The 18-year-old starlet is the product of Trabzonspor youth development who has been gaining plenty of attention with a string of impressive first-team performances this season.

Omur forced his way through Trabzonspor youth ranks into the senior squad last December when he made his Super Lig debut. It did not take too long for Omur to score his first – and only – senior goal in a Turkish Cup clash five days later.

Trabzonspor chief Muharrem Usta has revealed that the Turkish club held talks to sign Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere in the summer transfer window.

The midfielder is surplus to requirements at the north London club and was expected to move on this summer. However, despite reported interest from a number of clubs in the midfielder, the injury-prone star remained at the club.

It seems Turkey was a possible destination, with Usta telling Turkish-Football: “I held direct talks with Jack Wilshere,”

“We wanted him on loan and were close to a deal but the move stalled at the last moment.”
