The fact, that a number of those late goals were needed to be scored to rescue wins or draws is why the Gunners are struggling to make the top-four this season.

The Daily Mirror is claiming that Everton boss Roberto Martinez is tracking Arsenal youngster Calum Chambers. The 20-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Gunners starting line-up this season.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has recently stated that he believes that Chambers will eventually play as a defensive midfielder, despite being signed as a defender. The youngster has played most of his career at right-back, but Hector Bellerin and Mathieu Debuchy are currently in front of him in the pecking order for that spot in the team.

The 27-year-old joined the Gunners from Real Madrid in 2013 for a club-record fee and the physical demands of the Premier League seemed to get the better of him in the early stages of his Arsenal career.

However, this season Gunners fans have seen the Germany international hit top form. The playmaker has produced ten assists in the Premier League, with eight of those coming in his last six appearances.
