On Sunday afternoon, Arsenal needed an 88th-minute equaliser to rescue a 1-1 draw at Southampton.
The home side took the lead on three minutes. Per Mertesacker gives the ball away, Dusan Tadic beat the German defender before finding Charlie Austin, who kept himself onside and calmly beat Petr Cech.
The Saints came close to doubling their lead two minutes later, with Tadic and Austin combining once again. However, this time Cech produced a good save from Austin’s effort from a tight angle.
Austin struck the post on eight minutes from Nathan Redmond’s cross. The effort would not have counted anyway, as the referee’s assistant flagged the striker for offside. .......Read more here.....

Last season young Arsenal defender Calum Chambers found himself loaned out to Middlesbrough, who were eventually relegated from the Premier League.
The young defender was one of Boro’s most consistent players though and the north east side’s defensive record was not the problem. They went down because they were toothless in attack. Chambers and Ben Gibson formed a very good centre-back pair.
Chambers made 24 appearances for Boro, despite being injured for some of the campaign. His performances suggest that the 22-year-old is now ready to play regular first team football in the top-flight. .......Read more here.....
