An under-strength Arsenal started their Premier League campaign with a 4-3 defeat against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Arsenal had the first attempt at goal of the game on seven minutes. Alexis Sanchez showed good footwork in the box to find Aaron Ramsey, who took a touch before poking an effort straight at Simon Mignolet.
The next attempt on goal came on 13 minutes, as England right-back Nathaniel Clyne saw a long-range effort easily dealt with by Petr Cech in the Arsenal goal. On 22 minutes Ramsey saw Mignolet off his line and attempted to chip the Belgian from long-range, but only hit his effort over the bar. .......Read more here.....

Liverpool scored a last-gasp equaliser to secure a 3-3 draw against Arsenal in a brilliantly entertaining encounter at Anfield on Wednesday night.
Liverpool took the lead on nine minutes with the first real attempt on goal of the game. Emre Can fired an effort towards goal that fell into the path of Roberto Firmino, who fired a low effort through the legs of Laurent Koscielny and past Petr Cech.
The Gunners equalised on 14 minutes. Joel Campbell produced a superb through ball to Aaron Ramsey in the area and Welshman fired low past Simon Mignolet at his near post. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal claimed a 4-1 victory over Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium in the early kick-off on Saturday. Goals from Hector Bellerin, Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud were enough to clinch a vital win.
The Gunners made a quick start, as Alexis Sanchez fired just wide of goal in the first minute of the match. The Gunners threatened the Liverpool goal again on three minutes, as Simon Mignolet got down well to produce a superb low save from Santi Cazorla’s powerful effort.
On five minutes Mignolet was in the action again. Former-Gunners centre-back Kolo Toure lost possession on the edge of his area to Aaron Ramsey. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal defeated third-place Liverpool 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium in the evening kick-off on Saturday. The victory took the Gunners five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
Liverpool made the brighter start, as Wojciech Szczesny raced out to gather the ball before Luis Suarez could get onto the ball on two minutes.
