La Liga side Sevilla look set to lose one of their key players this season as Steven N’Zonzi has refused to extend his contract with Rojiblancos amid interest from the likes of Barcelona and Arsenal.

According to Spanish media outlet AS, N’Zonzi did not want to put pen to paper on a new deal as it would have increased his buyout clause well over the current €30 million, which the player feels would ultimately ruin his chances of making a move elsewhere.

Sevilla sporting director Monchi is believed to be eyeing up replacements for the reliable midfielder as he is not certain if N’Zonzi will remain at Sevilla past the January transfer window.

Poland midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak is expected to start against Portugal in the Euro 2016 quarter-finals at the Stade Vélodrome on Thursday night, and will be looking to show Arsenal what they’re missing out following the news he’s set to sign for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Gunners were put off matching the Sevilla man’s €30M asking price in the summer, instead signing Borussia Monchengladbach’s Granit Xhaka, and the talented 26-year-old looks set for a switch to the Parc Des Princes. Krychowiak would provide the steel in the PSG midfield, something the French side have been lacking without the right personnel.

Arsenal are reportedly readying a fresh bid to sign Grzegorz Krychowiak from Sevilla in the summer transfer window, Daily Express has revealed.

Gunners were linked with a move for the 26-year-old defensive midfielder in January, but opted to go for Mohammed Elneny instead and Arsene Wenger is believed to be set to revive interest in the Polish star.

With Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini both set to pack their bags and leave Emirates in the summer, French manager will need to find the proper replacement in the midfield and Krychowiak is believed to be the first name on the list.

According to Sky Sports Spanish football expert Graham Hunter, Arsenal are unlikely to sign Sevilla’s Polish international defensive midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak this summer, despite stating the Pole would suit Arsenal.

Hunter told Sky Sports HQ: “If Arsenal decide that this fierce, tough-tackling, clever, goal-scoring central-midfielder – who meets the criteria of what critics of Wenger have been saying Arsenal have needed for three four or five seasons – then yes, he would suit them.

According to the Daily Express, Juventus have rejected a bid of around £8.5million from Sevilla for Spanish striker Fernando Llorente. The Express also claimed that both Arsenal and Premier League rivals Manchester United are interested in signing the giant striker.

It seems that the Bianconeri are not budging from their £10.5million valuation of the striker who they signed from Athletic Bilbao on a free transfer in 2013.

He struggled for first team football last season. His chances of first team football this season have also been decreased by Juve signing Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic. It now seems he is set to leave to leave Turin.

Arsenal are being linked with a number of players in today’s tabloids. The two of the most interesting ones are Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak and Juventus star Claudio Marchisio. Both midfielders are being linked with the Gunners by foreign publications.

Polish international defensive midfielder Krychowiak only arrived at Sevilla in the summer from French side Reims for a fee in the region of £3million. However, the 24-year-old has been outstanding for the side from Andalusia.

Krychowiak is the only ever-present in the Sevilla side this season and has won four man of the match awards for Spanish side. His impressive displays have already attracted interest from elsewhere.

According to the Daily Star, Arsenal could be lining up a shock move for former-QPR defensive midfielder Stephane Mbia. The 28-year-old Cameroonian international is a free agent after his contract with the Hoops expirer earlier this summer.

The Hoops were looking to cut their wage bill this summer after years of overspending on inflated wages and transfer fees. Mbia was reportedly on £60,000 a week at Loftus Road and is expected to demand a similar wage package at his next club.
