Arsenal suffered a 3-1 defeat against Premier League leaders Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
City took less than two minutes of the game to have a clear opening. The Citizens hit the visitors on the counter-attacking as Raheem Sterling broke at pace, before finding Kevin De Bruyne.
The Belgian international then played a reverse pass to Sergio Aguero, who from a tight angle inside the penalty area fired just wide of Petr Cech’s post. Arsenal’s first threat of the game came on five minutes, as Alex Iwobi fired well over the bar from distance. .......Read more here.....

On Sunday, Arsenal faces a tough test as the Gunners travel to the Etihad Stadium to play Premier League leaders Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have a near perfect record in the Premier League this season. The home side have recorded nine wins in their ten league games so far.
Everton were the only team to avoid defeat against the Citizens in the English top-flight this season. The Toffees managed a 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium in August.

According to the Mirror, Arsenal have ended their interest in Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, after previous reports claimed the 29-year-old could consider a move to the Emirates after losing his starting place at the Etihad. Aguero was linked to a swap deal with Arsenal that would see Alexis Sanchez go the other way, but such a transfer looks dead in the water.
Aguero’s future has been in doubt all summer, with the Argentine international having so far played second fiddle to Gabriel Jesus in attack under Pep Guardiola. He’s long been linked with a move to Arsenal, particularly in an unlikely part-exchange deal, but it’s now likely that if Alexis does leave the Gunners, it will be cash only and not include a City player. .......Read more here.....

Manchester City are believed to be considering a swap deal for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez that would involve Citizens’ hero Sergio Aguero being sent in an opposite direction.
The Chilean’s future remains the subject of intense speculation as Alexis Sanchez is drawing closer to the end of his contract with Arsenal next summer.
Arsene Wenger is confident Sanchez will stay in north London and appears unwilling to sell him to Premier League rivals but if most recent reports turn out to be true he might want to reconsider his stance. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal and Manchester City could do an incredible swap deal this summer involving the Gunners Alexis Sanchez and the Citizens Sergio Aguero, according to the Daily Star.
The tabloid reports that discussions have opened about a potential deal, which would prove to be one of the biggest of the summer.

Arsenal are through to the FA Cup final after a 2-1 extra-time victory over Manchester City at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
City offered the first threat on goal on three minutes, as Kevin de Bruyne dragged an effort wide of goal from distance. There was then a period of the two teams feeling each other out and the Gunners had their first attempt of the game just prior to the quarter of an hour mark.
Olivier Giroud’s header from inside the area was straight at Claudio Bravo. City went up the other end and Petr Cech was forced into tipping a David Silva header wide of goal. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal drew 2-2 with Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon, with the result not really helping the Gunners chances of Champions League qualification.
City had the first real attack of the game on three minutes. Fernandinho played Sterling in on goal, but Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina was out quickly, only for the Colombian’s attempted clearance hit Raheem Sterling and went wide of goal.
Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck came close to opening the scoring soon afterwards, turning Nicolas Otamendi before firing into the side-netting. .......Read more here.....

According to the Daily Express, Arsenal are set to make a sensational summer move for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero.
The forward has is out-of-favour with City boss Pep Guardiola and the Catalan boss has benched the Argentinian striker for the last two games. Brazilian starlet Gabriel Jesus has started in Aguero’s place and has made a big impression.
Aguero is now rumoured to be unhappy with the Citizens and ready to move on in the summer. However, Arsenal are unlikely to be the only interested club in acquiring Aguero’s services, with the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid also being linked with a move for the striker. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal will look to bounce back from defeat last time out, as the Gunners visit top-four rivals Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
City have been in relatively poor form of late, having recorded just one victory in their last four games in all competitions. However, that one win came in midweek in a 2-0 win over Watford, courtesy of strikes from Pablo Zabaleta and David Silva.
The win means that the Citizens are currently fourth in the Premier League table, a point behind the Gunners. Pep Guardiola’s side do not have a great recent home record in the top-flight, but they have suffered just one defeat in their last 11 games at the Etihad Stadium. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat at Everton on Tuesday night was a surprise considering the Gunners recent good form and the Toffees poor form of late. However, despite having a good record at Goodison Park the Gunners came unstuck against the side from Merseyside.
There were contentious decisions by the officials in the game, but that cannot paper over the cracks of the lacklustre performance.
