North London club are expected to confirm their first summer signing imminently, according to the reports coming from the German media outlet Bild.
After more than a couple of weeks of intense speculation it became apparent that Gunners were closing in on Schalke left-back Sead Kolasinac who is available on free transfer after his deal with Bundesliga outfit expired at the end of last season.
The 23-year-old has been constantly moved to and from Arsenal but the Bosnia international now looks set to be installed as Arsenal’s first summer signing. Schalke left-back and Bosnia and Herzegovina international Sead Kolasinac has been the talk of the town yesterday with Sky Sports breaking the news that the highly sought-after 23-year-old star has agreed to join Arsenal on a free transfer on 1 July.
Kolasinac is nearing the end of his deal with the Bundesliga outfit and has been considering his options for a while now with Arsenal and AC Milan thought to be closest to securing his signature.

Arsenal fans were excited to learn that Arsenal have moved to the front row in the race for Sead Kolasinac this weekend.
Still, it turns out that Gunners are not the only club interested in the Bosnia and Herzegovina international as it emerged that Everton, among other clubs, are also interested.

According to the Independent, Arsenal have agreed a deal to bring Schalke left-back Sead Kolasinac to the club in July when his contract expires with Bundesliga club.
The Gunners are reported to have beaten off competition from Everton and AC Milan for the highly-rated Bosnia and Herzegovina international.
Could be a shrewd signing for Arsenal

The 22-year-old German international has emerged as one of the brightest prospects in the country with his stellar performances for Schalke alarming host of Europe’s clubs, who are looking to take advantage of Goretzka’s current contract status.

The 23-year-old is set to become a free agent at the end of the season and the clubs are lining up behind the highly-rated defender with Juventus and Chelsea believed to be leading the pack.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Arsenal are now favourites to sign German youngster Julian Draxler this summer. The 21-year-old was believed to be heading for Juventus after talks between his current club Schalke and the Bianconeri were held.
The Italian club were believed to have had a bid of around £15.6million rejected by the Gelsenkirchen outfit. The rejected bid has once again lead to the Gunners being linked with the German international.

According to the Daily Star, Arsenal are set to pip Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich to the signature of Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler.
The talented 20-year-old has made the German provisional squad for this summer’s World Cup due to his impressive showings in the Bundesliga this season.
Draxler has scored five goals and made seven assists in 2013/14. For Schalke, he’s shown himself to be a real talent on the pitch, and boasts having made 106 successful dribbles. With 59 key passes too, Draxler has been one of the best players in Germany. .......Read more here.....

Reported Arsenal transfer target Julian Draxler has refused to rule out the possibility of signing for German and European champions Bayern Munich. The Schalke youngster had been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal ahead of the winter transfer window shutting.
However, the highly-rated 20-year-old remained in Gelsenkirchen. Draxler’s performances in the last few seasons have attracted the interest of a host of other European giants, apart from Arsenal. The Germany international has a release clause of around £37.5million in his contract.
His club are hoping to keep hold of the talented youngster for the next few years, but with interest mounting it is unlikely that Draxler will remain at Schalke for much longer. .......Read more here.....
