Arsenal goalkeeper Wojcieh Szczesny is believed to be subject of increased interest from Serie A hot-shots Napoli, La Gazzetta dello Sport has learned.
Partenopei are not thoroughly satisfied with their goalkeeping options and are willing to bring the Arsenal goalkeeper to challenge Pepe Reina for the spot in goal next season.
Napoli’s back-up ‘keepers Rafael Cabral and Luigi Sepe are both likely to leave the club at the end of the season, whereas Spanish shot stopper Pepe Reina has come under heavy criticism this term due to some rather shaky performances. .......Read more here.....

With Arsenal having lost Lukasz Fabianki to Swansea City this summer and Emiliano Viviano leaving the club to return to parent side Palermo following last season’s loan spell, who will be Arsenal’s second-choice goalkeeper for 2014/15?
Poland international Wojciech Szczesny is the club’s number one goalkeeper, and last season he shared the Golden Glove award for mot clean sheets in 2013/14, so it’s very unlikely he will be replaced. Therefore Arsenal need a player willing to sit on the bench as cover. .......Read more here.....

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal could be set to launch a £5million raid for Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina this summer. The Spaniard is currently away on international duty at the World Cup, after spending last season on-loan at Italian club Napoli.
Reina looks set to leave Liverpool on a permanent basis this summer, after he was demoted to backup keeper to Simon Mignolet last summer and then loaned out to Napoli for the season. The Mail claims that Napoli boss Rafael Benitez would be keen to keep Reina, but only on loan. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal have claimed a 2-0 victory over Napoli on match day two of the Champions League. The Gunners achieved the victory through goals in the first fifteen minutes from Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud.
The Gunners made a blistering start to the game, as the home side looked to take the early initiative and it was the Gunners that took the lead on eight minutes.
Aaron Ramsey escaped down the right flank, pulled the ball back to Mesut Ozil on the edge of box and the Germany international steered home a superb effort on the half-volley. It was the German’s first goal for the north London club since his arrival from Real Madrid. .......Read more here.....
