England managed to snatch a 2-1 win against Tunisia, courtesy of a stoppage-time goal from Tottenham striker Harry Kane. The effort was his second of the game after opening the scoring in the first half. The England captain has now scored ten times in his last eight international appearances. Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez scored twice as defending champions Chile won 4-2 against Panama to reach the quarter-finals of the Copa America Centenario. His first goal and Chile’s third was the pick of the bunch. It came from a breakaway with hat-trick-chasing Eduardo Vargas squaring a pass on the edge of the box for Sanchez, who volleyed home into the roof of the net.
Sanchez grabbed his second goal with a brilliant accurate header to make it 4-2, sealing the holders’ place in the last-eight. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will be delighted with the form of his star forward, but will also be mindful of his physical condition upon his return to the Emirates Stadium this summer. .......Read more here.....
