According to Football.London, Manchester United are keen to sign AS Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, a player who has been linked all summer with Arsenal. The Gunners have had three bids rejected by the Ligue 1 champions for the 21-year-old, but United may have more luck given they’re able to offer considerable more for his signature than Arsenal.
Arsenal had an initial bid of around £30m-£35m turned down by Monaco, before being equally unsuccessful with a £40m offer. And the Metro reported the Gunners had a £45m bid turned down at the end of July. According to Sky Sports, Catalan giants Barcelona could rival Arsenal for the signature of Monaco winger Thomas Lemar. The Gunners have already reportedly had two bids rejected for the 21-year-old, but are still interested in the youngster.

According to talkSPORT via the Express, AS Monaco have made a £45m for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez. The Ligue 1 side could be losing Kylian Mbappe after the teenager reportedly requested a move from the Stade Louis II and Sanchez could now be replacing him.
The Sun journalist Martin Lipton believes Monaco will consider giving Arsenal Thomas Lemar as a “bargaining chip” to allow them to sign Sanchez, with manager Arsene Wenger having said in no uncertain terms that the Chilean would not be sold.

Monaco winger Thomas Lemar has intensified the rumours linking him with a move to Arsenal this summer, with the Frenchman being snapped with an Arsenal supporter while in Saillon, Switzerland, according to The Sun.
The supporters is believed to have tweeted after the chance meeting with Lemar: “OMG! I met Thomas Lemar in Saillon, Switzerland. He seemed really happy taking photos with me. Definitely Arsenal bound!

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are looking to offload a number of players in order to up their bid for Monaco winger Thomas Lemar. The report suggests that the French champions want a fee close to £80million for the youngster.
Always the economist Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is attempting to raise the funds by selling players, including the likes of Lucas Perez, Theo Walcott, Wojciech Szczesny, Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs.
A club-record fee

This could story has rumbled on for the last few weeks, yes it is the Arsenal chasing Monaco winger Thomas Lemar. According to the Daily Mirror, the Gunners are now confident of doing a deal with the French champions worth £45million.
The report claims that the young winger could sign a contract that will see him earn around £100,000 per week in north London. The Gunners are reported to have had two bids rejected by Monaco for Lemar so far, but the two clubs are now reportedly in negotiations to come to a compromise deal.

The French champions are understandably not keen on selling the youngster and have resisted any interest in the winger’s services so far this summer. In fact, Arsenal were reported to have had a bid of around £30m rejected last month. Monaco are attempting to ward off the Gunners interest by raising their asking price.

The Daily Mirror are reporting that Arsenal are set to launch a world-record £125million bid for Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe this summer.
The story seems like a fairytale from a journalist with too much time on his hands or after a few too many drinks. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger hates to part with money, so for the French boss to part with that sort of money for one player, albeit a highly rated player seems ridiculous.

Arsenal are close to sealing the £30million signing of Monaco’s French international winger Thomas Lemar, according to the Daily Mail.
The report on the Mail’s website suggests that talks between the two clubs are going smoothly and that the youngster could be close to joining the Gunners.

Lemar is no doubt an exciting young talent, just like a number of his current Monaco teammates. Last season was a breakthrough one for the 21-year-old, as he scored 14 times and produced 17 assists in all competitions from his left-wing position. .......Read more here.....

Any move for the young Frenchman will depend on whether the Gunners can nab Monaco’s star striker Kylian Mbappe, which seems unlikely as most of Europe’s top teams are interested in signing the wonderkid.
