Arsene Wenger’s reputation of a football manager who pays great deal of attention to young and talented footballers gives us no reason to be surprised over the reports linking Gunners with MK Dons starlet Dylan Asongangyi.

The 16-year-old forward is the shiny pearl of MK Dons’ Under-18 side who’s been having a blistering start to the 2017/18 campaign.

Asonganyi scored nine goals in seven games for his team and his imposing goalscoring record has caught the attention of the Premier League’s biggest clubs – Arsenal included.

Arsenal striker Benik Afobe, currently on loan at Milton Keynes Dons, has vowed to continue his impressing goalscoring run in an attempt to help his new side in tonight’s all-important clash with Bradford City.

The 21-year-old was loaned to the League One side at the beginning of August and he has enjoyed a bright start to the new season. The former England Under-19 international scored a total of six goals in eight matches, netting four times in last three fixtures.

As a result, he is flying on confidence at the moment and is eager to continue scoring goals on regular basis.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will be paying attention to the scoring antics of striker Benik Afobe this season.

The 21-year-old, who currently plays for MK Dons on loan, has been in fine form at the start of the campaign – scoring four goals from six games in all competitions.

He was particularly impressive against Manchester United during his side’s 4-0 win against the 2012/13 Premier League champions in the Capital One Cup second round recently.

Afobe, an Arsenal academy product, has been loaned out to a host of clubs in the past in order to find some form and impress his manager. The England U21 international played for Huddersfield Town, Reading, Bolton, Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday.
