Arsenal have already been linked with everyone under the sun in the build-up to this summer’s transfer window, which must be both an exciting and daunting reality for Gunners fans to face. One way or another we’re going to see some interesting movements in what could be Arsene Wenger’s final full summer as manager at the club and one of the biggest possible signings they could make is the one that possesses the most potential – Max Meyer.

Hector Bellerin’s agent says the defender is completely happy at Arsenal, as reported by the Mirror.

Arsenal’s fullback has been linked with a host of clubs and the amount of money the Gunners would get for him would certainly help them rebuild the squad, but for now, he remains content with playing at the Emirates.

The Mirror claim Manchester United have made discreet enquiries about the player, but Juventus remain in pole position to secure his services, should it come to his departure. However, as agent Albert Botines says, there have been no formal approaches from any club. He also adds that he would be willing to listen to an offer from either Juventus or Napoli, because the two clubs are big not only in Italy but in Europe as well.

Having single-handedly won the winter transfer market with their wise and astute moves for Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to compensate for the departure of Aleixs Sanchez – while at the same time extending with Mesut Ozil – Gunners are already making plans for summer.

According to reports coming from Daily Star, Arsenal have set their sights on the 22-year-old German starlet Max Meyer.

Schalke ace has been in impressive form this season, enjoying a slightly deeper role under boss Domenico Tedesco, although he can be deployed as an attacking midfielder and a forward as well.
