Arsenal have been handed a major boost in the race to sign Bordeaux forward Malcom as Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich seem to have effectively pull out of the chase.
The Bavarians were believed to be leading the chase for the Brazilian as several club officials confirmed their interest, but it appears that head coach Jupp Heynckes doesn’t share their opinion.
Namely, the experienced tactician has made it clear he is not interested in 21-year-old winger.

Bordeaux in-form starlet Malcom has been one of the hotly debated transfer stories during the January market.
The 20-year-old talent has emerged as one of the greatest European prospects with his impressive Ligue 1 displays turning plenty of heads lately and it was widely believed that the Brazilian would be changing clubs during the winter transfer window.

Arsenal target Malcom has admitted that playing in England is ‘a dream’, with both the Gunners and Tottenham circling as the player’s future is still very much up in the air with the pace of the transfer window going up a notch.
Arsenal seem to be on the verge of losing Alexis Sanchez as the Chilean nears a move to Manchester United. It seemed as though the forward would be making a switch to Manchester, but to be with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. According to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, German international playmaker Mesut Ozil will not leave the north London club in the January transfer window.
When asked at his weekly press conference, if Ozil will still be at the club in February, Wenger replied: “Yes, of course.” The French boss was then asked could he move this month, he just said: “no”.
Wenger also stated in the press conference that Alexis Sanchez’s switch to Manchester United ‘Is likely to happen’.

Brazilian forward Malcom has emerged as somewhat a surprising option to potentially replace Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal.
The Chilean star looks set to leave Gunners this month with both Manchester City and Manchester United vying for his services and Arsenal are said to have already made firm moves in an effort to secure their position in case Sanchez leaves in January.
