Arsenal forward Lucas Perez has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium this summer and Fotospor have reported the Gunners’ asking price for the Spaniards is £12.4m. Former side Deportivo La Coruna have shown an interest in Perez but Turkish outfit Fenerbahce are believed to lead the race for his signature.
With Arsenal determined not to take such a big hit on the £17m striker signed last summer, Depor have been priced out of the move and have spoken out about their frustration with a lack of negotiation. Perez made just two Premier League starts last season and has lost his shirt number for next season, highlighting that Arsenal don’t have a place for him in the team. .......Read more here.....

Deportivo manager Pepe Mel has admitted his side are keen to bring Lucas Perez back to the Estadio Riazor this summer. The Arsenal forward is deemed surplus to requirements after hardly featuring in his debut season and an exit ahead of the upcoming campaign looks likely as a result.
“Everyone understands that Depor wants Lucas… I know Arsenal well … they do not give away anything, especially if they have paid more before. I told the president to work hard on plan B, because it will probably be the most feasible. But of course we would be waiting with open arms for Lucas because it would make us a team with many more options,” said Mel to AS. .......Read more here.....

I was pondering the other day whether any of Arsenal’s strikers would get into any of their top-six rivals teams. When I say strikers, for the sake of argument take Chilean Alexis Sanchez out of the mix, as he does not always get used as a central striker.
That leaves us with Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck and Lucas Perez. The only one out of that trio who has not been linked with a summer move is Welbeck.
Rivals have better strikers .......Read more here.....

Striker Lucas Perez is unhappy with his current status at Arsenal and is reported to be seeking a way out of the club at the end of the season.
Serious lack of playing time has left Spaniard disgruntled and disillusioned with his future at Arsenal which ultimately led to a revelation that he would consider moving back to Deportivo La Coruna in the summer.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has provided important team news update while speaking at a press conference ahead of the Premier League highly-anticipated showdown with Manchester United.
Gunners boss confirmed that Swiss international midfield Granit Xhaka has been ruled out of the clash after failing to recover from an ankle blow received in the north London derby defeat last week.
Xhaka was forced off in the second half of the 2-0 defeat by Tottenham, but the 64 minutes he got to spend on the pitch against Spurs were widely disappointing. Arsenal midfielder was one of many players who played well below par in last Sunday’s matchup. .......Read more here.....
