It seems that Arsenal has made signing a new goalkeeper one of their priorities this summer. Current number one Petr Cech was once a great custodian. However, the Czech star has seen better days and is now looking every bit his 35 years.
The Gunners current number two Colombian international David Ospina has also proven unconvincing at times during his Gunners career. Not many people seem to believe that the former Nice ‘keeper is good enough to be Arsenal’s long-term number one. .......Read more here.....

According to the Metro, Arsenal is close to completing a £3million deal for Colombia and Nice keeper David Ospina. The 25-year-old is highly-rated and was his countries number one at the World Cup as they made it to the quarter-finals.
Ospina told Nice prior to the World Cup that he was leaving and turned down a new contract. Ospina has just 12 months left on his contract, so a fee of £3million seems like a relativity reasonable one for such a solid keeper.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal is amongst a group of clubs showing an interesting in signing Costa Rica’s highly-rated keeper Keylor Navas. The 27-year-old has been one of most solid keepers at this summer’s World Cup, helping Los Ticos to the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Navas was the hero for Costa Rica last night, as the Central American country defeated Greece on penalties, after a 1-1 draw in normal and extra-time. Navas has been the outstanding last line of decent for the World Cup’s surprise package. .......Read more here.....
